Description
Tongue body enlarged and fills the mouth when protruded; color pale, with distinct tooth imprints along the lateral margins and a thin moist white coating.
Significance
Indicates spleen qi vacuity or spleen yang vacuity; failing transport and transformation allow damp to swell the tongue, which is then indented by the teeth.
